learning differently (adhd documentary)

Do you learn differently? Different from what? Learning Differently is a filmmakers attempt at exploring the concept of learning differences. I have interviewed psychologists, neurobiologists, education professors, myself and other students with some sort of learning difference to gather a wide variety of perspectives on how and why we learn differently. Critics are raving about this informative, fun and eye-opening documentary that has an important message about the deeper values and flaws of our educational system. A must-see.

in the last days..

… there will be wars and famines and disease epidemics and heavenly signs that will alert the world to some sort of crisis. Then will come an Antichrist as he’s called, or a political ruler, that will establish control over the whole earth. He’ll be backed up with a religious ruler, who’s called the false prophet. They together establish a unified social, economic and religious system that dominates the world. The only thing opposing them are the people of God and these two prophets, they’re called the two witnesses, who appear in Jerusalem, and begin to speak against this power. The rest of the book of Revelation, really the last half of the book is about the overthrow of this system.

did george bush’s grandfather help fund Hitler’s army?

George H.W. Bush’s father, and George W. Bush’s grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.

prescott and george

Remarkably, little of Bush’s dealings with Germany has received public scrutiny, partly because of the secret status of the documentation involving him. But now the multibillion dollar legal action for damages by two Holocaust survivors against the Bush family, and the imminent publication of three books on the subject are threatening to make Prescott Bush’s business history available for those who seek the truth.

While there is no suggestion that Prescott Bush was sympathetic to the Nazi cause, the documents reveal that the firm he worked for, Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), acted as a US base for the German industrialist, Fritz Thyssen, who helped finance Hitler in the 1930s before falling out with him at the end of the decade. The Guardian has seen evidence that shows Bush was the director of the New York-based Union Banking Corporation (UBC) that represented Thyssen’s US interests and he continued to work for the bank after America entered the war.

rumsfeld and saddam shake hands in 1983

the US of A gives financial support, including military aid, weapons and training to Saddam and his army throughout the 1980’s. then in 1990, they invade Iraq and start the Gulf War.

US intelligence helped Saddam’s Ba`ath Party seize power for the first time in 1963. Evidence suggests that Saddam was on the CIA payroll as early as 1959, when he participated in a failed assassination attempt against Iraqi strongman Abd al-Karim Qassem. In the 1980s, the US and Britain backed Saddam in the war against Iran, giving Iraq arms, money, satellite intelligence, and even chemical & bio-weapon precursors. As many as 90 US military advisors supported Iraqi forces and helped pick targets for Iraqi air and missile attacks.
