painting auctioned off for $120 million

“I stood trembling with anxiety and sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.”

This painting by Norwegian expressionist painter Edvard Munch was auctioned off at Sotheby’s in London for $120 million dollars on May 2nd, 2012. The figure in the painting, originally screaming in existential angst, now seems shocked that he has been sold at such an absurd price. There are children starving, wars being waged, rain forests being destroyed, government austerity programs reducing social spending, occupy wall street movements and I’m being bought for 120 million he says! what a sick, twisted and perverted world. the end is soon, stay tuned.
